Dr. Joon-Hyuk Park (PhD from our ROAR lab in 2016) joined the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Central Florida as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2019. His research focuses on wearable robotics and human-robot interaction. As part of Disability, Aging and Technology (DAT) cluster at UCF, he plans to continue research on assistive and rehabilitative devices in wearable forms, and develop design features and control strategies that can improve the utility, user acceptance and effectiveness of wearable technologies in various applications.
