Dr. Dario Martelli, a Postdoctoral Researcher at ROAR lab, joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Alabama as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2019. His research interests lie in the areas of biomechanics, movement analysis, rehabilitation robotics, and human-machine interfaces. He plans to continue research aimed at developing methods and technologies useful for restoring motor functions with particular interest in development of innovative solutions for improving gait and reducing the risk of falling in patients with balance disorders.
