A new grant proposal entitled "Robotic rehabilitation to promote recovery of forelimb function after cervical SCI in rats" was recently funded by Spinal Cord Injury Research Board. In this project, robotics will be used to retrain movements in animals with spinal cord injury. This project is a collaboration with Prof. Jack Martin's group at City College of New York. The image shows an animal with SCI whose forelimb is facilitated by a robot arm for movement retraining.
